Career As An Artist

The nature of the artist is creating communicating ideas and thoughts. An example of that would be painting. Collection of materials like using of oils, pencils, colors, brush, etc. the work of an artist is generally abstract, realistic or depicting objects, people or event. The work of an artist can be shown to public by various means. Say, an artist can review materials in newspapers, periodicals, or any other media. Also an artist can sell the variety of objects in their own studios or in retail outlets or they can display their art in museums, commercial art galleries or private homes.

The working condition of an artist varies. Some artist may work in commercial art studios; some may work in private studios in their home. The working hours would be according to the need. There may be a need to work overtime while some artists can work according to their own hours, generally self-employed artists.

Formal training is necessary as it is difficult to get expertise and gain skills without training. About 208,000 jobs were owned by artists in 2004. Employment of artists is likely to grow dramatically in all occupations with a scope of good earning.
