When Applying for a Job avoid these mistakes
December 14th, 2007
Not doing some research on the potential employer. If you do not know anything about your potential employer it will show in the interview and many employers are never impressed with that.
Failing to state clearly what your professional expectations are. You must be able to say why you are the best candidate for the job and what you expect to accomplish in it.
Bringing food into the interview. This may sound crazy but many people have done it. It is not acceptable. If you ate before the interview, make sure you have cleaned up before you walk into the interview.
Leaving a contact number that has an unprofessional voice mail message. Also use a professional email and not variation of your nickname.
