5 Job Interview Tips
December 4th, 2007
Job interviews can be stressful and by the time you begin speaking,
the interviewer has already formed an impression of you. When you are preparing for that interview consider the following tips.
- Make sure you are dressed appropriately and are well groomed. Your physical appearance is like your visual resume so always look the part.
- Be prepared so you don’t have to search for things during the interview. Have your resume and any other materials you may need ready.
- Arrive about fifteen minutes before the interview is scheduled to begin.
- Smile, say your name, make eye contact, and shake hands when you meet the interviewer.
- Pay attention to your body language because your anxiety may show and may give off the wrong impression.
